Let me start by saying KUDO's to Sparks Florist and Fresh Mex for hosting an amazing meeting in October.  The attendance was great, and learning how to make a Pumpkin Centerpiece was sooo much fun.  I am sure all who were attended would agree that Catering by Fresh Mex was outstanding.

Our upcoming November meeting is being held at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.  We are currently trying to raise 1000lbs of food to donate to the Food Bank at this upcoming meeting.  We are so exciting to have the Food Bank of Northern Nevada as our non-profit partner.  We will be working together on our upcoming Tabletop Competition as well.  As a Food Based/Catering Association, we thought it appropriate to partner with a non-profit organizations whos goal is based around food and feeding the hungry.

This upcoming meeting will include a presentation by Bill Kolton about the Food Bank and after dinner (Catered by Sup), we will be working together to get food boxes packaged for those in need.  Help us, help the community during a time when we can all be Thankful TOGETHER for all the gifts we have, while having the opportunity to GIVE BACK!

I am really looking forward to hearing from the Candidates running for the 2010 Reno Tahoe NACE Board.  We will be hearing from these candidates during the November meeting.

Planning is now underway for what is expected to be the best "Design Event" of the year.  Reno Tahoe NACE has partnered with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.  With help from their PR Department, we will be working to make this event open to the Public.  Proceeds will be divided equally between our chapter and the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
