Welcome to 2009!!!! Another New Year's has come and gone, and its hard to believe how quickly the year passed.

With the new years comes so many opportunities to learn about whats new in our industry.  Our upcoming meeting with Robert Fountain is one NOT to be missed.  Robert Fountain is one of the premier event producers in the San Francisco Bay Area, not to mention an amazing Florist and Designer.  His trends discussion will leave everyone filled with new ideas to motivate clients with in 2009.  The El Dorado is really kicking in some amazing food presentations at this event and has generously donated all the wine for the evening as well.

If you are looking to get out of town in the next few months, don't miss these opportunities for fun and knowledge in our industry.   The 2009 Special Event Show in San Diego  January 28 - 30th & The Catersource / Event Solutions Conference & Tradeshow is in Las Vegas ,February 22-26.

CATERING / CONVENTION SERVICES MANAGER NEEDED

The Silver Legacy Resort Casino is currently seeking adynamic and highly motivated Catering and Convention Services Manager.

Qualified candidates must have previous eperience in a high volume establishment, excellent communication skills and a solid sales background while presenting a professional image at all times.  A strong background in Food an dBeverage is preferable.

This position is responsible for all aspects of planning, oversight and post conference follow-up for convention sales groups and social catering functions
